This year our main focus has been environmental literacy. Although we have taken on many projects and met many goals, we wanted teachers, students, staff, parents and community members to continue to be involved in our ever-growing philosophy and way of life at our school.

Some of the projects that we completed this year include:

• School Wide Composting
• Plastic/Paper/Glass Recycling
• Vermicomposting
• Recycling of drink boxes
• Environmental Club
• Earth Day
• Pitch In Canada
• Working towards Earth Status from SEEDS foundation

All together we have completed over 500 projects with a goal of 1000 projects. We are hoping to help provide our community with environmental resources and continue our ongoing awareness projects. We consistently set, achieve and add new goals to our ever-growing list and are thoroughly enjoying all of the different environmental initiatives that the school is taking on!
