The Big Muddy Badlands
Although winter may seem like a time to huddle and keep warm indoors, in Quebec City it's a time to embrace the outdoors! The world-renowned Winter Carnival held every year features sledding, sculpting contests, ice baths, games, and other fun activities. It just goes to show that even in wintertime, there is fun to be had!

Nipekamew Sand Cliffs
This place is often called Saskatchewan's best-kept secret because not many people know about it! The Nipekamew Sand Cliffs are naturally formed sand cliffs that are very fragile and unpredictable. They are very tall and very jagged, so if you visit here, be very careful!

Great Sand Hills
TThe great big hills span over 1,900 square kilometers of land. This place is very much like a desert because of its sand dunes and cacti. These hills are also home to animals such as the mule deer and antelope. Since many of the plants and animals here are considered endangered, you would be lucky if you caught a glimpse of one of them.
