Likes to Hang Out:
They flower best when planted in full sun, although some bloom reasonably well in partial shade.
Benefits of the Plant:
Daylilies are able to withstand heat and drought better than many garden flowers. They are also completely winter-hardy and have an excellent ability to survive floods and drought.
Status:
Although the daylily is not native to North America, it is not considered a weed because it doesn’t move far from where it was first planted.
