| Is there a message in your art? |
| I don't do art to send a message. I do it for myself because I enjoy it. My art is a celebration of nature and its variety. I guess that if people are looking for a message it would be to "Celebrate Nature!" If my art does change the way people look at nature, I hope that it raises their awareness of how different and beautiful nature is and that it is worth paying attention to. |

| What is the best thing about painting wildlife? |
| It's so much fun to explore and have adventures in nature. Nature is fun and interesting because it is always different. Nature can be explored in a woodlot or meadow near your home. As you get older you can explore nature in places like National Parks. Nature is changing all the time, so there is always something new and exciting. You can see a lot of different and wonderful things as the seasons change, from winter to spring to summer to fall. You can also see little changes from day to day. |

| What is your favourite kind of wildlife to paint? Why? |
| I love to paint fierce things such as birds of prey, bears and lions. They are so active and exciting. Most fierce animals have interesting shapes. They have lots of muscles and their faces are so alert. Imagine a bald eagle. It is much more interesting than a beaver. Beavers are just big brown blobs |
