When did you start drawing and painting wildlife?
I started to become interested in art when I was about 8 years-old. When I was 12, my mother sent me to the Royal Ontario Museum. I joined the Junior Field Naturalists at the R.O.M. This is the age that I really became serious about art. I would come home from school and do art; mostly I would draw wildlife.
What inspired you to start?
I was always the kid in class who did art. It came naturally to me; I didn't find it hard to do. All artists love what they do. I love nature. That's why I paint wildlife.
