Curriculum
The Mini-Flyer activity is designed for students to share their knowledge of idling issues with those who are idling in your school zone. Whether done alone or in combination with other Switch off! activities, students will see the results and benefits of direct contact with the school community and the power of public education.
Learning Objectives
- Communicate ideas and information to a specific audience.
- Get the community involved in issues that are of concern to them.
- Change the habits of school area idlers through encouragement and education.
- Decrease idling activity at their school.

- Hold discussions that include a variety of views.
- Develop a word bank.
- Brainstorm.
- Create a media piece to share with the community.
