EcoKids is Earth Day Canada's (EDC) innovative, interactive environmental education program for youth who care about the planet. EDC has been inspiring Canadians to improve the state of the environment since 1990. EDC is a not-for-profit environmental charity that specializes in educating people about current environmental issues and helping them find solutions.

There are some places in EcoKids where we ask your child for some personal information, like first name, age, city and e-mail address. This personal information is used only by EcoKids and is never shared with others. We will not share this information with other companies or any other people.

When we ask for age and/or city and country it's because we want to make sure we're reaching everybody we want to reach and providing information that's useful to our target audience. Knowing about the age groups that visit our site helps us decide what kinds of contests to hold and/or topics to cover.

When we ask for an e-mail address, we do so as a way of getting in touch with you if you have entered one of our contests and won a prize. We will contact you via e-mail to request a mailing address in order to send out the prize.

Kids, always ask your parents if it's okay to give it to us. You can tell them we will use it only to send the prize, and will not save it afterwards.
